Genoa Homes

Where every home has a view.

Welcome to Genoa

Where every home has a view

Walking around Genoa, some ask themselves, “Is this Florida or Italy?” The neighborhood is surrounded by water in beautiful Sandestin. The Tuscan-style homes of Genoa increase the sense of walking along a Mediterranean beach town. The limited number of plots further ensures the exclusivity of these luxurious homes. When locals cross the rustic stone bridge into their private community, they traverse into another place, as if on a European vacation right here in America.

The residents of Genoa enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle within this community in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. They have deep-sea fishing right at their fingertips. Residents head out to Wednesday's Concert Series, on any given Wednesday, all summer long. It’s easy to enjoy kayaking on the lake, volleyball at the beach, and a day of golf at one of the many prestigious local golf clubs. It’s a beautiful short drive to the Baytowne Golf Club or The Links Golf Club

What to Love

  • Renowned golf courses such as Baytowne Golf Club

Local Lifestyle

Deep-sea diving in the morning, lunch at Cantina Laredo, and an evening of champagne and shopping await those who live in this luxurious community. It’s resort living for an active lifestyle, but it’s also somewhere to kick back and enjoy the luscious views.

Crystal clear blue waters and white sand beaches melt stress, giving way to a happier, grander way of living. Genoa looks like its Italian namesake but has better diving, golfing, and views. It may not have the history, but it has the notoriety that brings a packed annual calendar and prestigious restaurants and cafes.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Dining at Ovide means eating culinary creations crafted by the renowned chef Hugh Acheson. The ambiance matches the quality of the food, and any night out can be improved with a meal at Ovide. Rum Runners at the Village of Baytowne Wharf has the best drinks, paired with delightful dueling piano players and delicious fares for casual evenings out.

The shops on Grand Boulevard are where high-end retailers and unique boutiques line the streets. Locals love The Market Shops for a day of retail therapy, not to be confused with, Retail Therapy of Miramar Beach

It’s a quick drive to Ocean Club Restaurant for mouthwatering fares and major music performances. The people of Genoa also enjoy the golf clubs and country clubs around the area, from the Baytowne Golf Club to The Links Golf Club.

Things to Do

Living in Genoa isn’t just about the luxurious beaches and clubs. It involves a calendar full of annual events. Wednesday's Concert Series brings music to the Baytowne Wharf. Once a week, all summer long, locals enjoy outdoor concerts by the waterfront.

Newbies don’t have to wait long to find the best taco spots. The Tequila and Taco Festival features food and tequila from local restaurants and food trucks. It’s a day of yummy tacos, strong tequila, live music, and games.

Once a month, Bubbly Baytowne brings champagne, live music, and shopping together. Of course, even when there isn't an event happening in town, Genoa residents have plenty to do. They enjoy outdoor recreations like deep-sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico or kayaking on the crystal clear waters. Prestigious golf clubs abound throughout Sandestin and it's easy to catch a match of beach volleyball or tennis at the courts.
